One of our most popular cuts, the striploin steaks are cut from AAA beef that has been aged for a minimum of 28 days, then vacuum sealed and flash frozen to ensure all of the juice, flavour, and nutrients are locked in. 

Compared to a ribeye, the striploin steak is from the lower back of the steer, and therefore, is a bit leaner with less marbling, while still getting the flavour of a premium cut. 

Sourced from an Ontario-certified producer, each steak is individually packed and sealed to ensure freshness and quality.

Cooking suggestion

This cut is ideal for the grill, but a pan will also work well. No matter how you prepare it, make sure it is at room temperature and is thoroughly dried before cooking. To prepare the steak for frying, season it with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, hold it with tongs, and sear the fat cap until it begins to render and brown (about 2-3 minutes). For medium-rare, cook the meat in the oven at 300°F for about 5 minutes after evenly searing it for 1-2 minutes on each side.
